WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS

This Waiver and Release of Claims (“Waiver and Release”) concerns a Pub Crawl event scheduled in Roanoke, Texas for October 18, 2025 (the “Pub Crawl”), where participants will be invited to purchase food and beverages of their choosing at various venues in historic Roanoke.  By registering for the Pub Crawl, I agree to the following terms and conditions on behalf of myself and all others included in my registration (each referred to herein as a “Participant” and all collectively referred to herein as “Participants”).

Each Participant hereby assumes all risks and accepts sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that such Participant may experience or incur in connection with attending the Pub Crawl.  Each Participant hereby releases, covenants not to sue, discharges, and holds harmless Altrusa international Foundation of DFW, Inc. (“Altrusa DFW Foundation”), Altrusa International of DFW, Inc. (“Altrusa DFW”), their officers, directors, members, sponsors, agents, and representatives, of and from any such claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.  This Release and Waiver shall be binding on each Participant as well as their respective heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

By participating in the Pub Crawl, each Participant (i) assumes all risks associated with participation in the Pub Crawl, (ii) waives all claims that might arise from such participation, attests to be at least 21 years of age, (iii) understands that he or she may be required to show government-issued identification, and (iv) grants Altrusa DFW and Altrusa DFW Foundation permission to use his or her name, voice, and images in any photographs, videos, publications, or any other print, video graphics, or electronic recording of the Pub Crawl for any purpose.

Each Participant understands that all entry fees are nonrefundable, and that Altrusa DFW and Altrusa DFW Foundation reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event because of circumstances beyond their reasonable control, such as a weather-related event or emergency, or as required to protect the safety of participants and volunteers.  Each Participant further understands that no refunds will be issued under such circumstances, and that Altrusa DFW and Altrusa DFW Foundation reserve the right to change any details of the Pub Crawl without prior notice.
